How To Become An Actor

The American Dream Job.

Struggling Actor

A struggling actor is one that lives with four other people, works two part time jobs, and spends any leftover free time trying to get auditions and eventually acting work. This is the time when the desire of any actor who wants to be successful is put to the test. It is now when you will work the hardest for the least results. It is now when you will be forced to sacrifice the most. It is now when you will learn the most about yourself and if you have what it takes to make it as an actor.

Working Actor

A working actor is one that finds steady work in the industry. They can finally quit those two jobs and move into their own apartment. They still work hard and make sacrifices, but not to the degree of those below them. Some working actors can make more than $250,000 a year, while others enjoy mild degrees of fame and fortune. But most are nameless and make just enough money to support a family and live comfortably. This is the time when you will earn the respect of your peers and fans. It is here that you will network and make friends with those that can help propel your career into the superstar status if you so desire.

Superstar Actor

The superstar actor is a rare breed. In fact not every actor wants to obtain this goal, because the price of fame and fortune is too much for them to accept. These superstar actors are the ones we all know and have come to love and dream about. They live the glamorous lifestyles and make the millions of dollars we all desire to make. They are the legends that drive us all to become actors. Know this though, their jobs are just as hard and their responsibilities are even harder. Superstar actors sacrifice the most because they sacrifice their privacy.
