Premiering in August of 1997, ABC’s The View has received critical and public acclaim ever since. Bringing together five dynamic female hosts of different ages, the show is produced and anchored by ABC News and interview pioneer Barbara Walters. She is joined by Joy Baher, Elizabeth Hasselbeck, and up until recently Rosie O'Donnell. They are currently looking for a new cast member. The view has been the recipient of 18 Daytime Emmy Awards for “Outstanding Talk Show” and “Outstanding Talk Show Host.”
The minimum age for this event is 16.

Sometimes you can also get Standby Tickets on the day of the show. To do so, you must pick up a number from a View Audience Associate between 8:30am and 10am at their audience entrance, located at 320 W. 66th St., just past West End Ave. Everyone will be asked to return on the Standby Line at 10:20am. If they admit Standby audience, it will be done in numbered order. All Standby numbers may be given out prior to 10:00am.
The show tapes Live Monday through Friday, from 11:00am - 12:00noon.
The audience arrival time for ticket holders is 9:30am at the latest.
There is usually a six to nine month waiting list for tickets, so plan ahead and mail-in for tickets early!
