Who doesn’t know Oprah? She is one of the most powerful people in the world. From her humble beginnings as a radio host, Oprah is now one of the highest paid entertainers in history and a household name virtually everywhere.
Her show has received nearly 40 Daytime Emmy Awards, and her overall awards are unmatched by any other entertainer.
Her show focuses on improving people’s lives, and her mission has been to turn television into a positive resource that uplifts the lives of its viewers, and she’s already gone way beyond what virtually anyone else has achieved.
The minimum age for this event is 16.
To request tickets for Oprah, you need to call and speak to an Audience Department member at 312-591-9222. All reservations are not guaranteed, due to schedule changes. Reservations through other sources are not valid.
The Oprah taping schedule and tape times vary from week to week. The Audience Department can answer questions for you.
All persons ages 16 and 17 must be in the company of a parent or legal guardian in order to attend a taping, and they must bring a copy of their birth certificate AND possess a Photo ID with a birth date. Persons under the age of 16 will not be admitted into the studio. All audience members, regardless of age, must present a Valid Photo ID in order to be admitted to the studio.
The shows taping season runs from August through November and then from January through May.
Last minute tickets are sometimes available by emailing the Audience Department on Oprah's website. If last minute tickets are available, it will be posted on their site. If you email them and they can get you last minute tickets, they will let you know; do not call them.
All audience members must be aware of the following:
Arrival times are subject to change, but are usually between 7:00am and 8:00am for the Morning Taping and between 11:00am and 12 noon for the Afternoon Taping.
The earlier you check-in, the better choice of seats you have. If you should arrive before the doors are scheduled to open, please be aware you will wait outside until check-in.
The Dress Code is as follows: Please avoid beige or white clothing if possible. It can be too reflective for the lights in the studio.
Cameras/Recorders: No cameras, recorders, cell phones, pagers, etc. will be allowed in the studio. If you bring these or any similar items, we will check them and return them to you upon leaving the studio.
Security Check: Everyone attending the show must go through a security check before gaining access to the studio. Please downsize any purses or bags you are bringing with you.
Please keep in mind that you are responsible for the actions of the people in your party. All guests in your party must be known to you.
Personal Identification: Please bring at least one valid photo ID. You will not be allowed to enter the studio with out a valid photo ID.
No gifts/luggage check. No gifts, cards, letters, etc. will be accepted at audience check-in. Baggage-check facilities are not available.
Stand-by or walk-in audience members will not be admitted into the studio.
