Started by 5 recording industry executives in 1957 The National Academy Of Recording Arts & Sciences began honoring both technical and artistic achievement in music and spoken word two years later. Traditionally held in early to mid February the location changes frequently and therefore ticket, seat filler, and bleacher information are not known until the location is confirmed.
